Tattoo’ed and pierced lots of nice people this week.
Got to rebuild that Soba Pilot I rescued off of Ebay. I tore it apart, stripped it down and Clayton did the final cleaning and painted it nice, bright, red for me. The original coils were undamaged so I re-wrapped them in new $2 bills with clear shrink wrap. It’s a work-horse irons machine from 2004 but looks like it was made yesterday!
I used all the original parts EXCEPT for a new screw in the spring deck thats drilled out for my clip cord, and though I kept the original vice screw, I put on a wheat penny screw from Baltimore Irons.
Got to use it that afternoon. Running smooth as silk at 4 volts and was an awesome grey shader, bumped it up to 4.5 to do the color… I know, I’m rambling.

Stopped by and got this Koi! She brought some artwork in and we drew on one of her very own.

I had my customer today let me know that I don’t update my website nearly enough! She’s right, I’m lazy with it since I have Facebook… I don’t even want to know what my MYSPACE page looks like. So here’s an update, new tattoo photos are going up as well as my SOBA machine I just found on EBAY.
Our shop apprentice is now ready to pierce. He has been hard at work making cardboard his bitch and would now like to hang some pretty jewelry for you. Appointment only. Please call us at the shop 425-252-8315 Tuesday through Saturday 11a-5p ONLY. All joking aside, he has been working very hard and all piercing will be done under our watchful eye!
Red Red Printing is coming! Look soon to www.redredprinting.com for a special introductory deal on your first order. They will be printing one-inch buttons as well!

I recently purchased the iPad. I know being an early adopted is no good and I spent way to much by buying the Kindle when it first came out BUT…..
Sheesh! This friggin’ thing has everything!!! I’m reading my books much more than when I was reading on the kindle. In fact it has a kindle app. I got to keep every one of my purchases.
I have used it at work to display a picture that I was using for reference and used it to help a customer pick out the perfect frog to tattoo on her.
PDF files look Awesome on this thing! I have all my manuals on it.
I really like Facebook and myspace on it, browsing on the couch is way more comfortable than the old computer chair.
Oh! Netflix! Video on demand rocks!
Finally, what prompted me to write this, the ability to type to my website from it with word press. I really am enjoying this thing, and I bought the least expensive one!
There is one other thing, it annoys Nate…
I texted him from it!
Went and checked out KILL CLOSET at Studio7 in South Seattle this evening. A great opportunity to haul out my Nikon and take some really bad pictures!! Thanks to Kevin Beach over at www.kevinbeachphotography.com for giving me a lens I can use in dark clubs, I’m still learning how to use it though. I haven’t edited these but will pick some of them to do just that soon. These are straight from the camera. Do let me know what you think.

A moving tattoo using a photo of a young girls eyes. It was in memory of a friend of the client I tattooed it on. I only hope I did her justice.
